I guess I don’t know why I am the way I am and I’m not really sure that the reasons why even matter- but I have come to learn something valuable about myself…I always need to have a project in the works. For whatever reason I feel like my life has no purpose without having some big thing that I have to do on the horizon.
So if you’re around me you may just get whiplash from me bitching about all the crap I have to do to then 3 minutes later whining about having no grand thing-a-ma-bob in the works. I think I’ve been whining a lot more lately because Todd has been so busy working on the house and before my test I didn’t have ANY free time so now I feel like I don’t know what to do with all.
Thank God some stuff has come up recently that I need to take care of. I am about to start working on a project for a close friend who is a teacher and needs year end scrapbooks made for her students, which should definitely take through next month to finish up. I also need to find a damn dentist that preferabbly isn’t a pompous ass and doesn’t make your teeth hurt for 4 months after he does your fillings. Is that so much to ask?
Also with the arrival of spring, I’ve been reminded that it’s time to figure out any summer trips we want to take- including our anniversary trip this year. I have to check out some camp sites since the last time we went camping was two years ago because our old campground is no longer open for tents- RV’s only. Whatever. In my opinion, you can no longer call yourself open for “camping” if you only let RV’s rent a space. The 4th of July is all set up to go. But for our anniversary we just recently decided that we’re going to….VEGAS! Todd’s been there a couple of times, but I never have so I’m super excited. I told him last night that our “romantic anniversary trip” is pretty much going to consist of me being at the pool and spa 24/7 while he’s gambling at this or that casino. He’s going for the gambling, I’m going for the nice weather, pools, shopping and food. We’re so romantic.
